Carla Huff
It all began with an idea. An idea that can transform the way businesses see their clients and the way that community can improve its overall well-being.
Carla has over 20 years of experience working with diverse population groups, focusing on individuals and organizations dealing with secondary trauma, suicide prevention, social determinants of health, and both protective and risk factors of overall well-being.
Carla grew up in a small town in Montana and at 19-years-old, joined the US Army. After leaving the military, she pursued higher education while supporting her family, eventually graduating from NC State University. She has worked as a Juvenile Court Counselor, Public School Educator, within the Medicaid system providing parent support and support for individuals transitioning out of long-term care, either residential or incarceration.
Carla has taught the impacts of secondary trauma, suicide prevention, trauma-informed interviewing and and trauma-informed care. When not working, Carla enjoys time with family, reading for pleasure, and exploring National Parks. You can find her other current projects at CircleQuestStudios.com and CarlaHuff.com
